Corned Beef Roast Recipe

Ingredients of the Recipe:
1. A 5 1/2 pound packet of corned beef brisket with spice
2. 7 small peeled and diced potatoes
3. 4 neatly peeled and diced carrots
4. 3 cloves chopped garlic
5. 1diced onion
6. salt and pepper (to taste)
Method of Preparation:
1. To prepare the recipe, first heat the oven to 150 degree C. Place the piece of meat in the center and then use the potatoes, carrots, onions and garlic for the garnishing.
2. Place the carrots and potatoes around the sides and onions and garlic on the top. Use salt and pepper for the seasoning.
3. Put all the seasoning on top of the roast and add just enough water such that it only just submerges the potatoes. An aluminum foil or a lid should be used to cover the bowl. Then let it roast for at least 5 hours in the oven.
4. Remove it from the oven and let it come to normal temperature. The roast is ready to be served once it becomes soft and can be pierced easily using a knife or a fork.
