Hazelnut Cinnamon Biscotti Recipe

Wonderful and easy to  bake cookies that smell great.

Ingredients of the Recipe:

3/4 cup butter, 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup hazelnuts, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 3/4 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour and 2 eggs.

Method of Preparation:

Heat up the oven to 350 degrees F and grease the baking sheet well. Mix butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat and mix eggs and vanilla. Sift the flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder and mix in the egg mixture. Add the hazelnuts as well. Divide the dough into two equal portions each of them 10 inches length.  Place the logs on the baking sheet and flatten to 1/2 inch thickness. Bake them for 30 minutes in preheated oven. Remove them from oven when the edges turn golden and allow them to cool. Use a knife to slice the loaves into pieces. Place the slices on the baking sheet and bake for 10 more minutes. Cool and serve.
