Italian Chocolate Cookie Recipe

A very delicious cookie recipe.
Ingredients of the Recipe:
3 cups all purpose flour, 4 teaspoons baking powder, 3/4 cup white sugar, 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 cup softened butter, 1/3 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, 1 tablespoon softened butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 cups confectioners’ sugar and 1/4 cup hot milk.
Method of Preparation:
Heat up the oven to 375 degrees F. Sift 3 cups flour. Mix flour, baking powder, white sugar and cocoa in a large bowl. Melt a cup of butter add to the flour mixture. Mix thoroughly and add 1/3 cup milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla and nuts to the flour mixture. Mix thoroughly with hands. Make sure that the dough is not sticky. Make balls out of the dough of the size of a teaspoon. Roll to form balls of diameter one inch each. Arrange the balls on greased baking sheets. Do not apply pressure on the surface or flatten. Put the balls in the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the balls from the oven when they turn light brown. Let the balls cool on racks. Pour chocolate frosting on each of these balls when they cool down. Sprinkle candy sprinkles if the need be.
To make Chocolate Frosting: Melt the chocolate squares over low heat. Mix with 1 tablespoon of butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 cups of confectioner’s sugar. Add hot milk and beat the mixture until it becomes smooth.
