Caesar Salad Recipe

Ingredients
1. Bread cubes of ½ inch made from stale bread (2c)
2. egg (1)
3. romaine lettuce, washed and crisped (1large head)
4. drained and minced anchovy fillets (6)
5. grated parmesan cheese (1/3c)
6. lemon juice (3-4tsp)
7. olive oil (2/3c)
8. peeled garlic (1clove)
9. salt and pepper (to taste)
Method of preparation:-
1. Crush the peeled garlic into the oil, cover it and keep it overnight at room temperature. On the next day, drain the oil from the garlic and then throw away the garlic.
2. Take a heavy frying pan. Heat 1/3rd of the oil over the moderate high heat. Heat for about 1-2minutes. When the oil gets hot then adds the bread cube of stale Italian bread.
3. Cook the bread cubes until it gets brown from the all sides. Toss the bread constantly. Drain it on paper towel and then keep it aside.
4. Take a chilled bowl. Take romaine lettuce, anchovy and break it into bit size pieces and then place into the chilled salad bowl. Sprinkle salt and pepper and put the remaining oil in the bowl and then toss them.
5. Take a cup, break egg in it. Put it into the salad, pour lemon juice on the egg and mix it lightly. Now add aches bread cubes and parmesan. Toss these again and then serve it.
