A sauce that can be enjoyed with any kind of pasta.
Ingredients of the Recipe:
4 tablespoons olive oil, 4 cloves garlic minced, 1 small onion chopped, A 28 ounce can whole of peeled tomatoes, A 28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes, 3 teaspoons dried basil leaves, 1 teaspoon white sugar and salt and pepper to taste.
Method of Preparation:
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and fry garlic and onion for 10 minutes. Break the tomatoes with hands and add to the pan along with the crushed tomatoes, basil, sugar, salt and pepper. Cover it and cook gently for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally in between.
