Very delicious Italian Sausage Soup.
Ingredients of the Recipe:
A 16 ounce packet of smoked sausage, 2 potatoes cut into 1/4 inch slices, 3/4 cup chopped onion, 6 slices bacon, 1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic, 2 cups kale washed, dried, and shredded, 2 tablespoons chicken bouillon powder, 1 quart water and 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream.
Method of Preparation:
Heat up the oven to 300 degrees F. Place the sausages on the baking sheet in the form of a layer and bake in the oven for 25 minutes. Cut them in half then cut into 1/2 inch slices but at an angle. Put the onions and bacon in a pan and let it cook over medium heat until onions become clear. Remove the bacon and break into small crumbs. Set it aside for some time. Add garlic to the onions and cook for 1 more minute. Add the chicken bouillon, water and potatoes and boil gently for 15 minutes. Add the bacon, sausage, kale and cream. Cook gently for 4 minutes and serve.
